Clinical Field Placement

Many courses have embedded clinical hours built into the course. The course instructor will give the class list of any students who need scheduled clinical hours to the director of education field placements at the beginning of each semester. After verifying the completion of the clearance packet on SharePoint, the student will be sent a Clinical Survey to complete, which outlines transportation and hours available. The director of educational field placements will assign you to a placement based on the information provided on the survey. An email will be sent, connecting the student to the teacher so they can plan a schedule.

Capstone Clinical/Student Teaching

The semester before student teaching complete the student teaching application and meet with your advisor for review and approval. Applications that have signed approval from the advisor will be given to the Director of Educational Field Placements.

Application Deadlines

• Fall semester: February 15
• Spring semester: September 15
