Dr. Christina Riley Brown, professor of English, holds an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Mississippi. Dr. Riley Brown鈥檚 expertise includes Early American literature, the history of print culture, and literature of the American South.

During her academic career at 老司机福利社 University, Dr. Riley Brown has served in numerous administrative roles, including as Chair of English Department, Interim Dean of Business, Associate Dean, and then Dean of the Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences for six years. She co-edited the anthology Liberty's Captives: Narratives of Confinement in the Print Culture of the Early Republic (2006) from the University of Georgia Press, a collection of critically introduced first-person narratives that contributed to the formation and articulation of national identity.聽

She is a faculty advisor for Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honor Society. She serves as a peer reviewer for national grants.
