For the second year in a row, ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÉç University hosts the LAX-for-Life fundraiser, bringing together lacrosse teams from around the region to raise awareness about organ donation through competitive games and community engagement. The games begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, and will be played throughout the day on ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÉç’s three fields. Ìý

Founded by former ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÉç lacrosse player and heart transplant recipient Ryan Scoble ’23, LAX-for-Life has quickly become a platform for spreading awareness about the importance of organ donation. Scoble's journey from being diagnosed with heart failure to receiving a life-saving heart transplant, and eventually returning to the field, is an inspiring testament to the power of organ donation. Through his personal experience, Scoble seeks to encourage others to consider giving the gift of life.Ìý

This year's event promises to be even bigger than last year’s, featuring nine NCAA men's lacrosse programs and five NCAA women's teams. In addition to helping organize the games, Scoble will be speaking to the crowd during a special presentation at Saxon Stadium at 1:10 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online for $5 or at the door for $10.
